No. Our fees in Level 01 are paid entirely by the seller — monthly retainer during Phase 3 + success fee on closing. You assume no cost for accessing the portfolio or entering a specific deal.

We define thesis and excluding criteria with you, do proactive outreach to companies that meet them but aren't yet in market, and those accepting exploration enter our Phase 1 + Phase 2 process (co-financed by you as part of the mandate). Yes, by sector and geography for 6-12 months. It wouldn't make sense to invest outreach effort if other buyers competed in parallel for the same companies we discover for you. Parallel mandates in different sectors, possible.
Each buyer signs bilateral NDA with the target company before accessing sensitive information. The dataroom has access levels (public / signed LOI / SPA) with audit log. We never share buyer identity with others, nor discuss cross terms.
That's exactly the use case for the Search Mandate. The company enters Phase 1 (with or without your co-financing) for diagnosis, and if it fits, Phase 2 for preparation. You get first-look and right of first refusal if you choose to activate it. Average time from not-ready company to sellable company: 6-9 months.
